November - Panama Canal Cruise

2009 - Japan, St. Lucia, Indonesia

Colorado, San Francisco, Victoria, Panama Canal, Washington DC

We went on several major trips in 2009. Here is the list:

• March - Skiing at Beaver Creek, Colorado
• May - Photo Expedition to Japan
• June - Scuba Diving in St. Lucia
• September - Scuba Diving in Indonesia and Touring Bali
• October - Photo Course in Victoria (Brandon only)
• November - Panama Canal Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to San Diego

In addition to these trips, we went to San Antonio for grandson Henry's first birthday party in February. Here are some pictures.

In March, Kathy went to visit her daughter Holly in San Francisco after spending a few days with the skiers in Beaver Creek.

On our way back from our trip to Japan in May we stopped in San Francisco and visited with Holly in her new apartment.

In mid-July, we went to San Marcos for granddaughter Chloe's fifth birthday party. Here are some pictures from the party, including some of grandson Alex and granddaughter Tess, as well as birthday girl Chloe.

Also, Kathy went on trips in the fall to visit her brother in Oregon and her daughter Kyra in Washington, D.C..

Of course we do other things besides travel. In 2008 we mostly worked getting the new house organized and furnished. In 2009 Kathy and I did volunteer computer work for the Assistance League of Austin.
